Hot damn!, you say, I love Kansas garden information! (Or was that Oh damn!, you say, I do not love Kansas, or gardens, or information!)
The plans are formulating as such:
- Less corn than last time due to the corn smut issue
- More squash than last time since our one plant died so early in life
- Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes!
- Cucumbers
- Peas of the black eye type variety
- Peppers! bell and hotsie totsie
- Onions
- Probably not going through the pain of those damn watermelons or pumpkins (Oh wait! maybe one of the Giant Pumpkin seeds that Marisa sent last fall. Don't tell David.)
- Possibly some herbs of some fashion
Do you have any suggestions of wonderful veggies that we should grow? Anything that you just want to see us tangle with? That could make the weekly garden images a little more interesting, for sure...
Looks like we have our plate full with all of the planning and execution that is on the horizon. Hopefully after all of our sweat and hard work we will end up with a very full plate again!
