This took some coaching, but overall I was pretty proud!
Maybe she's putting that big ol' noggin* to use! (If this is not, in fact, exemplary for a six month old, I would like to live in the illusion that it is. You see, my memory from four years ago is a bit hazy due to four years of one Miss E.G. and I don't quite recall when she started using a sippy cup. Pretty convenient, no?)
*Big ol' noggin reference is not made unjustly. At Ashley's six month check up last Monday the doctor informed me that her height and weight (16.5 lbs.) are pretty middle of the road. Her head, however, is at the 90th percentile. So, cranius gigantus, she is!

I am very IMPRESSED! I couldn't get Faith to kick the bottle until she was a year old! (Okay, maybe 18 months old to get rid of the before-bed-"bubba".)
Go A.K.! Do I see a future pediatrician???
Wyatt will bat at it and if I hold it up for him, he'll close his mouth around it, but I'm not sure he actually pulls enough to get anything out and he's not very interested in it. We have the exact same cup and I remember once I changed to the "disposable" ones we now use without the big handles that are supposed to be more helpful, Dellaina did much better with it. I had her off the bottle by age 1, so still have a few months to work with Wyatt! AK is definitely ahead of the curve, with her noggin and skills!
I don't see no pick-chore!
That bib looks like a life preserver! Go Ashley go! She's got a lot of brain matter and is using it!
