I Voted

I tried to wear a red shirt today because, well, that's how I am, but it just didn't go. That's not to say that I went all green party and voted Nader, though...

I'm kind of excited to watch the results roll in tonight! Maybe even to the point of making a little celebration out of it, even. You know, it's really too bad I don't think my candidate is going to win. I suppose tomorrow's wardrobe choice will include black, for mourning. :)

I'm excited about the results, too, even though I'm POSITIVE our candidate isn't winning. I wonder why it's so exciting, anyway. We're going to watch the SNL ep from last night and drink, I'm sure.

A tiny part of me wants to see the other camp get in there and proceed to create a big ol' mess on their own. Is that wrong?

Keep hope alive! They thought Truman was surely going to lose. I love the pic of him holding up a newspaper that reads: "Dewey Won Election!" He was a wonderful president.

I even went to church to pray for our country this morning. I truly hope the man best for this country wins...
