Eastbound and Down

Sorry to skip a few days on the ol' blog... David and Ella left Wednesday for Georgia and it seems like I have been running and gunning since! Instead of enjoying some free time and a quiet house, I feel like I need to get all kinds of things done (other than the blog!). Yuck.

I plan on leaving at an obscene time in the morning to begin my 15 hour trek. Double yuck. I got some books on tape from the library so hopefully they will help pass the time. I think as long as I can make it through the dreaded Missouri (Misery) I will be sailing! (In case you have never driven through Missouri, don't. They have the worst roads and St. Louis is a real bitch!)

The past several days at work we have been hosting a group of high school kids from Kansas City. My part of the deal is presenting a little blurb about how cows make milk! Quiz me, I'm ready!

I'm hoping that by the time I get to GA Ella won't be too spoiled by Grandma... Fat chance, right?!

Footnote: Zip. Hopefully tonight!
