Clean sweep

Saturday was a very special day for all three of us. Aunt Jamie took E to Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, which is a fantastic zoo. That meant that David and I had the day off for the first time in 3 years!! Nice!

Instead of goofing off like we wanted to, we seized the opportunity to get the house in tiptop shape. Not terribly exciting but a great sense of accomplishment, certainly. (I did manage to sneak in a little nap after lunch...)

Watching the Dawgs Saturday night was about as fun as cleaning the house. I'm glad they won but, come on! It's stinkin' Ole Miss! I hope they have a Come to Jesus meeting this week before Tennessee wipes the field with them! I want to be able to send nasty emails to my UT relatives, not receive them!

Speaking of Come to Jesus meetings, we went to church yesterday and heard a very good speaker. His message got me to thinking (which is the piont, right?). I am pondering about things that I know. Not just think, but KNOW. Several things have come to me but I'm sure many more will.

For instance: I know that I can count on David. I can count on him for all of the wonderful things a girl needs from her husband but also for a lot of silly things too. Like when we were pulling up the tomato plants and ended up playing green tomato baseball with the hoe handle and immature tomatoes. Nothing says love like splattering tomatoes on each other with each connection of bat and ball.

(I also know that Georgia football is like religion.)

What do you know?

E knows that playing in the creek is fun!

very sweet! I'm glad you are so secure and that you both provide all the things a spouse needs (love, support, devotion and goofiness) for each other. Pondering and knowing is what it's all about. Hmm, I KNOW I have never loved like I love Dellaina now. And that my love for Greg has grown exponentially, too and it's an amazing experience.

Aww. You guys are making me cry! I don't know a whole lot about love right now, but I know that my friends kick ass and I'm so lucky to have kept in touch with them over the years.
