We have come to an agreement on the name of our new baby girl. I feel pretty sure (!) in saying that the newest sweet baby M will be Miss Ashley Kate. There is the ever so slightest chance that this could change, but I doubt it. Besides, Ella has decided that she likes Ashley and so it will be!
I realize that the name Ashley Kate makes most think of the Olsen twins but I don't care. Waif-ish Olsen twins, be damned! I'm naming my girl whatever I want to! As my mom said, may she have all the money of those two but a little more meat on her bones!

yea! Love it. . I think it has a nice, easy ring and evokes your Southern roots/heritage. It's fun to know ahead of time, huh? and get adjusted to it. I think telling Ella probably sealed the deal! I know I was NOT good with change when I was young, so I think she would be mutinous if you decided to change it after she has accepted it and put her stamp of approval on it!

I heart the name Ashley. :) My daddy picked it out for me. And it goes so well with big sister's name! Plus, I think it will still sound lovely when you yell, "Ashley Kate, get yourself in here!" ;)
