Oh, Tylenol PM, I love you so much.
When a girl gets to be of a certain size in her midsection sleep can become elusive. Sleep can become even more elusive if said large bellied girl catches a cold where she can't breathe during futile attempts at sleep.
Cranky preggo + head cold = a side of preggo that is generally reserved for those who love her the most and are more apt to forgive her for ugly behavior, showing up at work.
Consult with nurse at doctors office, get list of approved medicines and hit up the drug section of the grocery store like a mad woman.
Enter Tylenol PM riding in on a white horse and delivering two nights of sleep that isn't perfect but damn close.
From the mouth of my doctor at today's appointment: "Tylenol PM is perfectly safe. You could take it every night if you wanted to." How did she know that was exactly what I was contemplating?!

Colds during pregnancy are the worst, aren't they? So glad that you found something that works! I used to take Benadryl and Tylenol all the time for my colds. (The same ingredients are in Tylenol PM...)
