A goat with no ears and two piggies snuggling up!
In front of the Watusi cattle. Those are some big horns, y'all.
Down the main drag. See Madame Lil's? I KNEW Lilly was a hussy!

Cows in the adjoining pasture enjoying the sunflowers.
Sheep from the sheep unit grazing with the football stadium in the back.
More of the sheep munching down.

E showing her muscles.
"Go Cats!"
One of the things that the K-State fans do is after the announcer says "Good for a K-State..." and everyone yells "First down" or "Touchdown" and do the appropriate hand signals. Ella picked up on the hand signals and was having fun doing them. We thought it was pretty funny so David taught her some other ones. (We just know that Aunt Jamie and Grandaddy are going to be so proud!)
Since the videos went over well last week, I decided to get one of her doing the signals. I wasn't thinking and turned the camera sideways to shoot and now I don't know how to flip it. It's only 30 seconds so you shouldn't get too bad of a neck cramp! Notice the red socks. She was quite proud of those. Picked 'em out herself because they matched her shirt. Also, I apologize for my loud mouth. I must have been right over the microphone. Sheesh.
Sideways, loud mouth, red sock football hand signal video

Had to crop this to keep it G rated.

Clever editing makes it look like E is steering all by herself!
We got to go over to the gym Sunday and E and Mal had free rein on the trampolines.

These make me laugh!
And now something to make you laugh... Poor Miss Mags is becoming a woman. We did some quick thinking and fashioned a panty/diaper for her out of leftover puppy pad trainer. We laughed and laughed at Maggie walking around in this thing. (I did explain to her that this was a natural part of being a female, etc. but she didn't seem to appreciate...)

(From our vacation) E kickin' it in David's shades
Two fat caterpillars helping themselves to my tomatoes.
If you look close above the one on the left you can see what's left of a tomato that it was snacking on. I was none too pleased to see these pests and wasted no time in slinging them across the yard (where they met their gooey demise).
Beyond vegetables we have a couple of zinnia plants that are putting out some beautiful flowers. Ella planted these leftover seeds herself.

Zinnias are quickly becoming one of my new faves!
The raspberry plant is desperately trying to hold on to life after I neglected it for a week or so... Oops. Maybe I can find myself some stout manure and fertilize the hell out of it. Wonder if pig, chicken, beef cow, dairy cow or horse manure is better? Our department puts together all of them in a savory blend in the compost piles. Yuuum. On second thought, the idea of that stuff being close to my house is not that appealing. Miracle Gro it is!

This weekend we had TC over and he told us 'my dad ties me up'. If we weren't hip to the rodeo scene we might have needed to make a quick phone call to the local authorities! But then TC quickly showed us his calf tying skills and we decided that maybe TC's dad is getting a run for his money!

E cheers TC on.
These pictures just crack me up. First, because David was getting the dogs all whipped up last night (it was our first cool evening and the dogs were feeling spunky) and I managed to just barely catch them.

Closer up of E wearing my flip flops.

I had to blur that swim photo. I'm crazy but not stupid!
Here are scans of the ones I bought. Best of the worst, I'll call it.

You bet that I planted that seed!

No new pics of E so how about
Miss Dellaina, saying "Even I can see all that dust!"
Really big bee or really small flower...
And Ella decided that she wanted to show the bee her belly. I kid you not. Right out of the blue.

That belly reminds me of a big ol' watermelon!
Speaking of the watermelons, I haven't managed to kill them yet!

Two beauts!
The pumpkins will never say die, I'm afraid. Here's one of our first!

That'd be a s*load of weeds creep, creep, creepin' in!
The tomatoes, okra and cucumbers are still producing, don't worry!
Thank goodness for you that things are slowing down and I won't be able to do Garden Fun much longer!
