We have GOT to start getting up earlier. This 'wait until the very last possible minute to roll out of bed and still leave on time with everything going smoothly' business ain't cutting it. Because, as chance would have it, things most certainly do not always go smooth in the morning. As a matter of fact, things always seem to be a bit bumpy. And most of it isn't through anyone in particular's fault, it just happens. Shit happens. Sometimes, literally. Or spit up happens. It just does.We need to better prepare ourselves for the inevitable stumbling block in the road to getting out the door on time. Several mornings that requires getting Ella out of bed earlier, too, because boy can that girl be a grump! But very often all she needs is a little bit of time to adjust to the bright lights, the noise and the inconvenient necessity of movement. Rushing an ill little girl does not go well. Nor does rushing a baby. Actually, rushing a baby is an impossible task which generally leads to spit up happening. Not good.
Maybe if I would make my lunch at night. Wash my pump pieces at night. Choose my clothes and iron them at night. Maybe the morning routine would go much better. But right now it's nighttime, and what am I doing? None of those things, because I don't want to. Just like I don't want to get up when the alarm goes off.
And I will never get to work on time. Ha ha!

Megs! You use to be so good at getting up and it was Marisa that left everything to the last minute! Making up for that? ha ha
Go to the store and get a 2nd pair of pump accessories!
I hear you on all accounts. but, I have to admit, I love that you now have a computer/Internet at home so that we get more posts from you! which are totally more important than clean pumping accessories, right? Karen's idea seems like a better one, but, um, and perhaps this should go under my confessions post, but I just rinse my off at work and leave them there all week and bring them home to wash on the weekends.
